Marco joined Meridiam in 2011 and has over 15 years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Previously he worked at Alpine Bau GmbH, a major Austrian construction company, where he was involved in leading or consultant roles in PPP’s in Austria (A5), Russia (M1 Moscow-Minsk), and Slovakia (D1.3).

As CFO of the Swiss subsidiaries of Alpine he worked on the Gotthard NEAT project and several projects in countries like Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Romania and Turkey. As CFO of the Italian branch of the company he was involved in projects in transportation infrastructures (airports, railways, highways) and civil engineering (courthouses, hospitals).

Marco started his career in the construction sector in 1994, working for Italian companies during the “German Reconstruction” in Munich and Leipzig.

He holds a degree in Business Administration.
