Nicolas Hulot, French Ministry for an Ecological and Inclusive Transition, has established today the Ecological Transition Accelerator Committee, chaired by Jean-Dominique Sénard, CEO of Michelin.

Its mission will be to accompany and stimulate the measures defined by the Ministry for the implementation of the Climate Plan set up in July 2017. This accelerator aims at mobilizing all stakeholders – companies, social partners, training organizations – so that everyone can seize the opportunities in terms of jobs, innovations and growth offered by the ecological transition.

The committee is composed of members of public and private sectors including NGOs, researchers, members of the European parliament and industrials.

“I’m looking forward to start working with the other members of the Committee. Building a stakeholder alliance is crucial to tackle the challenge of the climate change. In this sense, this committee seems to me an amazing lever to concretely move forward together” said Thierry Déau.
