Background

The Law School Extension is a new law faculty building developed under a PPP agreement signed with the University of Barcelona (controlled by the Cataluña Regional Government).
The new building has a total area of 15,215m2 divided into four blocks with capacity for 7000 students, 47 classrooms, 176 offices and 33 new parking spaces.

The company subcontracts the facility maintenance services to the “JV Ampliació Facultat de Dret”, and management services required for the company´s activity to Infra Invest Iberia and ACSA Obras e Infrastructuras.

The project collects rainwater for the firefight and sanitary systems in order to minimise water consumption.

SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy)

The Project has taken several measures to improve energy efficiency, including light sensors and installing LEDs to cover 100% of the lighting.
