Our impact
Chargepoly: Decarbonizing heavy-duty transport by enabling the electrification of truck fleets through reliable, high-power charging infrastructure
Sector: Clean mobility
Chargepoly is a European pioneer in the deployment of charging infrastructure for electric trucks and commercial fleets, supporting the transition toward low-carbon logistics.
Chargepoly designs, deploys and operates high-power DC charging stations for heavy commercial vehicles. Its solutions are tailored to the specific needs of fleet operators, ensuring reliability, performance and operational continuity.
The company provides an integrated offering combining advanced technology, project delivery and charge point operation (CPO), supported by its proprietary software suite, Lucie. This allows clients to manage charging operations efficiently and optimize energy usage across their fleets.
Chargepoly primarily targets depot-based charging for truck and bus fleet operators, with solutions deployed in carrier depots, logistics warehouses, industrial sites, port terminals and bus depots.
Since its founding in 2019, Chargepoly has deployed hundreds of DC fast charging points across France, the UK and Canada, and now helps decarbonize more than one million km of freight transport every month.

Meridiam’s Green Impact Growth Fund led a €23m investment in Chargepoly alongside Fideve Groupe, the company’s long-standing shareholder, to support its next stage of growth, international expansion and the scaling of its integrated technology platform.
Why We Invested in Chargepoly
To support the growth of a key enabler of heavy-duty transport electrification and to contribute to the decarbonization of logistics and freight mobility.
- Accelerate expansion across core markets, including France, the UK and Canada
- Strengthen Chargepoly’s integrated hardware and software platform
- Leverage Meridiam’s ecosystem to support commercial development and partnerships
Chargepoly’s impact
Chargepoly’s major contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are mostly on:
- SDG 7 – Affordable and clean energy, by enabling the shift from diesel to electric heavy-duty transport and by improving energy efficiency through high-performance charging systems and optimized energy management at depot level;
- SDG 9 – Industry, innovation and infrastructure, by deploying reliable, modular and scalable charging infrastructure required for large-scale electrification of freight transport;
- SDG 11 – Sustainable cities and communities, by reducing local air pollution through the replacement of diesel trucks operating near urban logistics hubs;
- SDG 13 – Climate action, by supporting the decarbonization of heavy-duty transport and enabling compliance with European climate targets for the freight sector.
