Zakaria Fechtali is Partner and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Meridiam, overseeing financial teams and operations across the firm’s European and African investment funds and their respective management companies.

Since joining Meridiam’s Paris office in 2016, he has played an active role in several fundraising initiatives, including the structuring and launch of the Urban Resilience Fund, and has contributed to several complex transactions across Meridiam’s portfolio, funds and the management company.

Drawing on his extensive expertise, Zakaria serves on the board of several Meridiam entities, including LISEA, the concessionaire of the South Europe Atlantic high-speed rail line between Tours and Bordeaux.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Zakaria spent several years at KPMG Luxembourg as a Senior Auditor and Advisor, specialising in banking and investment fund operations, advising institutional clients on audit, regulatory and financial operations.
