Thibault Simon started his career at Meridiam in 2011 where he has worked on a wide range of infrastructure projects across Europe, including mobility (EV charging infrastructure, airports, roads, light rail) and energy transition (biogas).

Amongst other transactions, Thibault was involved in the Sofia Airport project, where he was responsible for the financing raised during the Covid Crisis. He also led several other complex acquisition and financing transactions across Meridiam’s portfolio, including the A2 motorway in Poland.

Since 2026, Thibault has led the Meridiam Infrastructure Agri Transition Europe Fund (MIATEF), focused on sustainable infrastructure supporting the transformation of the agricultural and agri-food sectors. He coordinates the fund’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, capital deployment and asset management activities, with overall responsibility for delivering the fund’s long-term objectives.

Thibault also serves as Chairman and Board Member of several Meridiam portfolio companies across Europe.
