Nebila AHMED

Nebila joined the Meridiam team as an Analyst in November 2018. She is currently involved in the development of road infrastructure projects in Africa and Europe.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Nebila worked as a consultant in the leading consultancy firm in Ethiopia specialized in delivering effective and business-oriented solutions to the finance/investment sector. She has also worked as a junior analyst for a consulting firm specialized in M&A operations based in Toulouse (France) where she assisted in financial engineering activities.

Nebila holds a Masters in Corporate Finance from the Business Administration Institute of Toulouse and a BA in Economics & Business Administration from the University of Toulouse 1-Capitole.

Jorge Arozamena
Senior Associate

Jorge joined the Meridiam team as a Senior Associate in August 2020. He is currently part of the HUB and is also involved in the development of infrastructure projects in Europe.
Prior to joining Meridiam, Jorge worked as an investment manager in a leading firm in Spain, in charge of acquisition of transportation assets in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. He has also worked as a deputy project manager in the USA, where he assisted the country CEO in the set-up of the operations in the country and in the development of a road project in Indiana.
Jorge holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a management program in structured financing & corporate finance from the IE and an MBA from INSEAD.


Senior Investment Director

Richard joined Meridiam in 2013, with a focus on Asset Management of the UK projects within Meridiam’s portfolio.

He has built a career in Developing, Building and Managing Infrastructure Assets. He has extensive experience of working with Public Sector Clients in partnership arrangements as well as a detailed understanding of the requirements of Infrastructure Fund Investors. With a strong focus on financial and operational performance, Richard also has a track record of turnaround of poorly performing Assets. A Partner with consultants EC Harris, he was responsible for its public sector business in Merseyside and North Wales, which provides construction and facilities management consultancy to the local authority, social housing and education sectors. He was also responsible for the establishment and subsequent growth and development of an award winning NHS LIFT Company, Renova Developments. Renova won LiftCo of the year in 2007 and 2008 and also Lift Area of the Year in 2009, along with the PCTs and local authorities of Halton and St Helens, Knowsley and Warrington.

Investment Director

Umut joined Meridiam as an Analyst in 2011 with the responsibility of assisting the Investment Directors in deal origination and development through the investment process.

Umut holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University, US and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey.

Stacey Ayuthia
Investment Director

Stacey Ayuthia joined Meridiam in October 2020 as Investment Director, with a focus on energy projects.

Stacey began her career as a consulting engineer concentrating on the campus utility market. She then led the engineering team at an industrial focused design/build construction firm.  Prior to joining Meridiam, she ran NV5’s Wisconsin office and was the Director of Campus Utilities.

Stacey has a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Masters in Professional Practice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Senior Associate

Hazar joined Meridiam as an Analyst in 2016 with the responsibility of supporting the team in deal origination and development through the transaction processes.

He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and a MSc in International Management from Koc University.

Currently, he pursues a MSc in Civil Engineering with focus on structures from Bogazici University, Turkey.


Rami joined Meridiam in 2017 as an Analyst in the Paris office.

Prior to this, he was on an intership at Meridiam and finished his Civil Enginneer degree at ENPC (Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées).

Marvin BELL
Investment Director

Marvin joined Meridiam in 2019 as Investment Director with a focus on project development and execution in Africa.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Marvin was an Investment Manager at CDC Group in London where he was focused on generalist and infrastructure private equity fund and co-investments in Africa. He began his career with PwC in their Banking and Capital Markets Assurance and Business Advisory unit in London.

Marvin is a Chartered Accountant of England and Wales (ACA) and holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from Cardiff University.


Franck joined Meridiam in 2017 as Financial Analyst in the Investment team.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he worked in the Transportation sector, mainly at the RATP Group in a PPP team and at the French Development Agency on sustainable mobility policies in developing countries. He also worked in the structuring team of Natixis CIB.

He is graduated in Civil Engineering (ESTP) and Public Transportation (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech).

Grégoire Beraud
Senior Associate GIGF

Gregoire joined Meridiam in 2020 as a Senior Associate in the GIGF team, driven by the opportunity to support positive-impact companies that address key environmental and social challenges.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Gregoire was working in Venture Capital in NYC, at Solvay Ventures and SPRIM Ventures, with a tropism for healthcare and personal care subjects. He was operationally involved with Travecta Therapeutics, a biotech targeting Blood Brain Barrier drug delivery. Before this, he spent two years in large cap private equity at Wendel in Paris, where he was managing their investment in Nippon Oil Pump, a Japanese pumps manufacturer, and helped launch the Wendel Lab, a fund of funds initiative investing in venture/growth tech funds across the world.

Gregoire holds a Master in Finance degree from Princeton University, and graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 2015, with a joint degree from HEC.

Emmanuel BIRBA
Senior Associate

Emmanuel joined Meridiam’s investment team in 2011 as an analyst with a focus on deal origination in Europe; he has worked on several European deals and acquisitions both in the transportation and the social infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Emmanuel worked for LCL (Credit Agricole Group) providing financial and banking advisory services for a number of significant companies.

Emmanuel graduated from the University of Montpellier with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Specialized Master of Financial Engineering from EMLYON Business School.

Alexis Bonal
Investment Director

Alexis Bonal joined Meridiam as an Investment Director in the Investors Relations team in Paris.

Prior to Meridiam, he was Vice President at LiquidAfrica, a boutique investment bank based in Johannesburg, where he has covered several cross-border transactions in M&A, equity capital raise and project finance across Sub-Saharan Africa. Before that, he was part of the strategy and M&A team of Engie, focusing on energy transition and energy efficiency acquisitions in Europe, the USA and emerging markets. Alexis started his career as a renewable energy engineer.

He holds an MSc in Management from ESSEC, an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon and he is an alumnus of the Aeronautical and Vehicle Engineering department of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden.

Head of ESG & Sustainability

Ginette joined Meridiam in 2016 and her expertise covers, namely, ESIAs, environmental permits and authorizations, environmental and social management plans, resettlement action plans and E&S capacity building. As Head of ESG & Sustainability, she ensures that the Funds operations observe and comply with the organization’s environmental, social and governance policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Meridiam, she has been active in the field of environmental and social studies for more than 25 years. Her involvement covered all aspects of the planning, construction and monitoring of large scale infrastructure projects in transport, energy, urban development and solid waste management. She has participated in all phases of project development, whether as the project director or coordinator, or as a human environment and institutional support expert. She also held various several management positions, leading multidisciplinary departments offering a wide range of E&S services. Ginette has managed E&S projects in Canada as well as in Africa, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

She has a bachelor degree in Urban Planning and a graduate diploma in Applied Business Management.

Giorgio Boso

Giorgio joined Meridiam in July 2018 as intern analyst in the development team based in Paris, with a focus on various projects throughout Europe.

Giorgio completed a double degree program in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Project Finance between the École des Ponts ParistTech and Politecnico di Milano. 

Investment Director

Doran joined Meridiam in 2019 as an Investment Director in the New York office where he focuses on Asset Management in North America. In addition to the portfolio asset management role, he is also heavily involved in Purple Line Transit Partners, the project company delivering a 16-mile long light rail project between Bethesda and New Carrolton in Maryland, USA.


Prior to joining Meridiam, Doran spent more than 10 years working in bidding, construction, and operations of P3 projects in North America. He has held specific roles within Project Companies / SPV’s including Commercial Director, Tolling Manager, Operations and Maintenance Program Manager, and Compliance Officer. At the corporate level, his roles included Project Manager and Director of Asset Management, where he also gained experience on the Board of Directors for several assets.


Doran holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, where he has also been a recognized as a Outstanding Young Alumni by the Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Distinguished Young Alumni by the Vecellio Construction Engineering & Management Program.


Partner, Sustainable Local Investment Director

Olivier joined Meridiam in 2013 and has led ever since a number of transactions including the ports of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais concession which reached financial close in July 2015, the Noor III CSP power plant project in Morocco and the concession of the Ivato and Fascene airports in Madagascar, which reached financial close in June 2017. He is currently leading Meridiam’s investment on the NeuConnect interconnector project. Apart from his development and investment tasks, he also holds board memberships in several Meridiam assets.

Olivier used to be Commercial Director at Bouygues Travaux Publics where he worked on numerous transactions including the Canal Seine Nord in France, R1 and D1 motorways in Slovakia and where he led the development and reached financial close of the L2 Marseille by-pass just before joining Meridiam. Formerly he was Managing Director of the Port of Gennevilliers (main profit centre of the Paris Port) and worked at the Ministry of Transport prior to that.

Olivier holds a Master’s in civil engineering from Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, a Master’s in Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique and a MPhil in Mathematics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI). He is a certified board member.

Jimmy Brun
Senior Associate

Jimmy joined Meridiam as a senior associate in 2020. Among the Dakar-based team, he is involved in the development process of several pipeline projects.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Jimmy was advisor to the French President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and the French Prime minister Edouard Philippe. During 3 years in the President and the PM’s private offices, he was in charge of the French transport public policies, notably carrying out a global reform of the French railway system, planning State investments in transport infrastructures and managing crises such as months long strikes against the pension reform and the covid-19 confinement/deconfinement.

Before that, Jimmy worked on railway economical regulation issues in the French ministry for transports and on air quality improvement in the French ministry for ecology.

Jimmy graduated from the Ecole polytechnique, the leading French engineering school, and holds a Master’s degree in water management. 


Laura joined Meridiam in 2018 in the Paris office as an Analyst.

Prior to joining, Laura was an analyst intern at Meridiam’s New York Office, supporting the investment team on transportation and environmental sectors in Latin America.

Laura is a Civil engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, where she has completed a master in project Finance.

Partner, Corporate Secretary, Chief Compliance Officer (RCCI)

Emmanuel is the Corporate Secretary at Meridiam Infrastructure, in charge of managing the corporate perimeter, corporate law and the various corporate bodies within Meridiam and also Chief Compliance Officer for Meridiam globally.

Emmanuel joined Meridiam in 2006 where he first managed middle office aspects including investor relations and reporting functions

Prior to Meridiam, Emmanuel worked as an Internal Legal Counsel for Egis Projects for 6 years, in charge of corporate aspects and PPP contracts negotiation.

Emmanuel holds a degree in Law from Lyon University and a first year PhD (DEA) in Contract Law.

Marine de Kerros
ESG Officer Africa

Marine de Kerros joined Meridiam in 2020 to ensure the implementation of Meridiam ESG Policies and Procedures by supporting the investment teams in Africa in defining and implementing the projects’ ESG strategies as part of the development phase.
Marine has over 25 years of experience, including 12 in Africa, in structuring, enhancing and promoting sustainability, both in the field and in strategy development. Prior to joigning Meridiam, Marine designed CSR strategy and implemented policies, action plans and reporting in Energy and water industries. She also reinforced ESG management of various infrastructure projects (hydroelectric dams, power plants, water production pants) in Africa, to insuring the application of national regulatory processes, international funder (IFC/ AfBD) ESG standards, sector and thematic guidelines.
Marine graduated from Polytech Savoie with an environmental engineering degree. 

Thierry DEAU
Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer

Thierry Déau founded Meridiam in 2005 with the belief that the alignment of interests between the public and private sector can provide critical solutions to the collective needs of communities.

He is currently Meridiam’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, as well as its main shareholder, along with several members of the team.

Prior to Meridiam, he worked for France’s Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations where he held several positions with its engineering and development subsidiary Egis Projects, moving up from project manager, then director for concession projects to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2001.

In addition to being in charge of international operations for the Egis Group executive committee and serving on its risk management committee, Thierry was a member of some of the boards or the chairman of several subsidiaries.

Thierry graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées engineering school in Paris and began his career in Malaysia with the construction firm of GTM International.

Thierry is currently Chairman of the Long Term Infrastructure Investors Association (LTIIA), a board member of Fondation des Ponts, a member of the Investment Committee of the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI), a member of the Investment Committee of the European Fund for Strategic Investment, Chairman of Archery for Inclusive Leadership and founder of Africa Infrastructure fellowship program Foundation (AIFP Foundation), founding member of the Sustainable Development Investment Partnership (SDIP) of the World Economic Forum, a member of Prince of Wales’ Sustainable Markets Council for the Commonwealth and President of Finance for Tomorrow, the branch of Paris Europlace promoting green and sustainable finance on an international level.

Edem Dei

Edem joined Meridiam in January 2020 as an Associate, with a focus on Development in Africa.

Edem began his career with Balfour Beatty in the UK and prior to joining Meridiam, he worked with the Asset Management team of AMP Capital in London.

Edem graduated from the University of Birmingham with a MEng Civil Engineering (International Study) Degree and from University College London with a MSc Infrastructure Investment and Finance.

Partner, Director CEE

David joined Meridiam in 2005 and participated in the closings of Limerick Tunnel (Ireland) and LIFT portfolio (UK) and led the A5 motorway (Germany) closing in March 2009. He has also participated in the preparation of bids and undertaken due diligence for projects in France, Portugal, Belgium, Romania, Spain and Poland.

Prior to joining Meridiam, David had 10 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure sector.

David is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia where he also gained a Master of Science in Transportation. He also graduated from Harvard School of Government with a Master in Public Administration.

Senior Investment Director

Scott joined Meridiam as North American Asset Management Director based in New York in 2011.

He held senior positions at RREEF Infrastructure, Earth Tech and Bechtel. He has overseen asset management, development and project finance activities on a number of infrastructure/PPP investments across the globe within the sectors of water, transportation and energy.

Scott graduated cum laude from Middlebury College with a major in Economics and Russian language and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Jonathan DINGLE
Senior Investment Director

Jonathan joined the Meridiam team as an Analyst in January 2012. He is currently a Senior Investment Director managing infrastructure assets in our North American portfolio.  Prior to asset management, Jonathan was involved in leading the development and financing of new opportunities in North America for Meridiam.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Jonathan worked as a consultant within AECOM’s global P3 Advisory practice in Europe, North America and Australia.  He started his career in Australian in ventilation design as an engineer supporting the development of major underground road and transit projects.

Jonathan holds a Master of International Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering both from the University of Queensland.

Sai Dokku

Sai joined Meridiam in 2019 in the New York office as an Analyst with a focus on deal origination in North America.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Sai worked at Black & Veatch, providing transaction advisory services for energy and infrastructure firms.

Sai holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Arlene Douglas
Senior Associate

Arlene joined Meridiam in March 2021, focusing on investment development in the Americas. Prior to joining Meridiam, she worked in the Public Sector and Infrastructure Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs specializing in higher education finance. Arlene graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Irem Erkenez

Irem joined the Meridiam team as an associate in March 2020. She is currently involved in the development of hospital, motorway and desalination infrastructure projects in Eurasia countries.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Irem worked in a project company in Turkey specialized in contracts management. She has also worked as a tender engineer for leading international contractors where she assisted tender preparation, cost analysis and procurement.

Irem holds a BSc in civil engineering from Bogazici University and a MSc in engineering business management from the University of Warwick.


Emre joined Meridiam in July 2018 in the New York office as an Analyst supporting the investment team.

Before joining Meridiam, Emre interned at BBVA-Garanti Bank as a project finance analyst focusing on renewable energy projects and as an investment banking analyst with Pragma Corporate Finance in Istanbul.

Emre holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University.

Senior Associate

Joni Fontoura is an investment professional at Meridiam. In that function, Joni plays an active role in the development of new projects and is currently involved in multiple bids throughout the Americas.
Since joining Meridiam, Joni has worked on the development of large infrastructure projects across different geographies and sectors. Joni was also involved in a wide variety of tasks related to the management of Meridiam’s assets, among other things, acting as a Director for multiple healthcare assets in the United Kingdom.
Joni graduated from Harvard University’s Kennedy School with a Master in Public Administration and is a Civil Engineer from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and University of Porto.

Investment Director

Bertrand joined the investment team of Meridiam in March 2018 as a Senior Associate, with a focus on project development in Africa and East Europe. He is now Investment Director

Prior to Meridiam, Bertrand worked three years in the investment team of InfraMed, an investment fund dedicated to the financing of infrastructures on the Southern and Eastern shores of the Mediterranean.

Before working on the investment side, Bertrand practiced law in international top-tier law firms (Clifford Chance and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe), in Paris and Casablanca. As a lawyer, he advised sponsors, lenders and public entities in drafting and negotiating project finance documents for major infrastructure transactions.

His experience includes a wide range of public-private partnerships for the financing, construction and maintenance of essential public infrastructures such as schools, university buildings, ports, airports and high-speed railway lines. Bertrand has also a significant experience in both large and small-scale energy projects (including wind farms, solar plants and gas- and oil-fired power plants) in Europe and Africa.

Bertrand also worked for two years as an Analyst in the risk management department of Dexia Credit Local, where he reviewed counterparty risk in the granting of loans to French schools, hospitals and social institutions.

Bertrand holds a MBA from Essec Business School, a Master in Management and Public Policy from Nanterre University and a Master un public economic law from Paris Assas Univesity.

Vincent Freely

Vincent Freely joined Meridiam in April 2021 as an Associate within the Investment Team.

Before joining Meridiam, Vincent worked on major infrastructure projects around Europe. After an internship with Lafarge, he joined HOCHTIEF as a civil engineer, delivering transport infrastructure projects in London and around Germany.

Vincent graduated from Imperial College London with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, having spent an ERASMUS year at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. Vincent is currently completing his Executive MBA at IESE Business School.


Partner, Director for Turkey & Eurasia

Omri joined Meridiam in 2010 as an Analyst with responsibility for deal origination and supporting the Investment Directors through the transaction processes.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Omri was an analyst at Lazard, where he advised on the debt and capital restructuring for a number of significant companies.

Omri graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science.

Partner, Global Risk Officer

Olivier is Meridiam’s Global Risk Officer, in charge of the company’s worldwide risk management, covering in particular the investment process and asset management across all Meridiam funds.

Oliver has been working in infrastructure finance since 1996. After five years in the banking sector (Credit Lyonnais and Dexia), Olivier joined Financial Security Assurance in 2001, first in their London office as a senior underwriter and, from 2006, in their NY headquarters as Managing Director in charge of FSA’s infrastructure finance operations in the Americas until he joined Meridiam in March 2010 as COO for North America. He then became Global Risk Officer in late 2013.

Chair of the Supervisory Board

Jane Garvey is the North America Chairman of Meridiam, a global investor and asset manager specialized in developing, financing and managing long-term public infrastructure projects. Ms. Garvey is a recognized global thought leader in business and highly regarded former U.S. government official. 

During her career in public service, Ms. Garvey served as the 14th Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from August 1997 to August 2002. She was the first FAA administrator to serve a full five-year term and also the first female to lead the agency. As Administrator of the FAA, Ms. Garvey guided the agency through many safety and modernization milestones. She led the FAA through the extraordinarily formidable events of September 11, 2001 with compassion and assurance of mission. She also pioneered the FAA through Y2K preparation and implementation and is known for her deliberate collaboration and ability to bring all stakeholders together.

Ms. Garvey is recognized for her breadth of experience at all levels of government. Ms. Garvey served as Acting Administrator and Deputy Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Among her accomplishments at FHWA, she conceived and developed the Innovative Financing Initiative—appropriately named GARVEE bonds, enabling states to use federal highway funds more effectively. Most of the funds-management methods tested by more than 30 states under this initiative were later enacted into law and helped finance important infrastructure projects around the country. Before leading the FHWA, Ms. Garvey was director of Boston’s Logan International Airport. From 1988 to 1991, she was Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Works under Governor Michael Dukakis.

After leaving government service, Ms. Garvey led the U.S. Public/Private Partnerships advisory group at JPMorgan, where she advised states on financing strategies to facilitate much-needed project delivery for state governments.

Throughout her career, Ms. Garvey has received numerous awards of distinction and recognition for her leadership in business and public service. In 2003 she joined several pioneers in aviation who were honored as the 100 Heroes in Aviation History as part of the First Flight Centennial Celebration in Kitty Hawk. Among her achievements, Ms. Garvey has received the Eno Lifetime of Service Award for her many contributions to transportation and infrastructure policy. She has been awarded the National Air Transportation Association’s Distinguished Service Award, the Natal Council of Public-Private Partnerships Leadership Award, and the National Award of Excellence for Public Leaders. Ms. Garvey has also received the Woman of the Year Award from Women in Transportation and Women in Politics and the L. Welch Pogue Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Aviation Club Board of Governors in Washington. Most recently, she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the WINiT Gala sponsored by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).

Ms. Garvey is the Chairman of the United Airlines Holdings, Inc. Board of Directors and has served on many presidential and states/local level commissions and councils.  Ms. Garvey was previously the Chairman of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Investment Advisory Council (IAC) and served on the boards of the MITRE Corporation, Skanska AB and Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC).



Partner, Senior Investment Director

Jens joined Meridiam in 2005 and has played since a lead role on the Vienna ring road, the UK Lift scheme, the A2 in Poland and the A5 in Germany. Jens has recently closed Segment II of the A2 in Poland.

He was originally trained as an analyst at Deutsche Bank before joining its project finance department of Dresdner Bank. He then worked for several years in the infrastructure development departments of Phillipp Holzmann and Walter Bau before taking on the role of managing director at Egis Dorsch development. Subsequently Jens worked at Egis Projects Asia Pacific in Australia where he was involved in monitoring and developing road operation and project development in Australia.

During his 15 years of professional experience, Jens has held leading roles in various infrastructure projects such as the Berlin Airport privatisation and extension (ultimately withdrawn by the client), the Zagreb-Macelj toll motorway.

Jens holds a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur from the Technische Hochschule in Karlsruhe and an M.Sc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics.

Development Director, Turkey

Günay joined Meridiam İstanbul Office in 2016.

Prior to joining Meridiam, she worked as the Chief Legal Counsel of MR Management Consultancy Company where she provided legal advice to SPV’s in all aspects. She has over fifteen year expertise in Banking and Finance Law, Corporate Law, Project Finance Law and PPP Law. She has represented Ministries and sponsors in the development and financing of many major projects in the health and energy sectors in Turkey. She worked as the internationally trained lawyer for various major banks in Canada. She provided end to end consulting on 17 PPP Projects in all aspects including project assessment, financing, and negotiation and drafting of project documents, for the last six years in Turkey.

Chief Compliance officer, Americas

Based in New York, Benjamin joined Meridiam in 2012 as a Tax Manager & Deputy CCO.

His responsibilities include the oversight of Tax Compliance in North America as well as Registered Investment Adviser Compliance with the SEC under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended. Benjamin graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Accounting and Finance in December of 2001.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he joined Rothstein Kass, a leading Financial Services Public Accounting firm. Starting out as a Tax Generalist, he quickly shifted his focus to tax issues in the Financial Sector. The portfolio of clients he managed included Private Equity Funds, Fund of Funds, Hedge Funds and their Investment Managers. In 2007, he left the public accounting world to join Balyasny Asset Management, LP, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund, as Corporate Controller and Tax Director. In these roles, his responsibilities included the oversight and control of monthly closings, budgeting, treasury, tax structuring and tax compliance amongst other duties.

Business Development Director Africa

Samuel joined Meridiam in 2019 as Investment Director with a focus on business development in Africa.

Samuel began his career in the French Ministry of Economy. Prior to join Meridiam, he was head of the Africa Division, at the French Treasury, in charge of monitoring economic relations with African countries, Zone Franc institutions and the AFD Group.

Samuel graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and National School of Administration (ENA).

Timothée HEDDE
Investment Director

Timothée joined Meridiam asset management team in 2012. He has primarily worked as CFO on one major French rail project and on several other deals in the transportation and the social infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Timothée experienced a 8-year experience at Bouygues Project Finance Department where he worked on the origination and structuring of several European, Asian and Middle East deals in the transportation and the social infrastructure.

Timothée graduated from HEC Paris (Masters in Finance).

Senior Associate

Alice is passionate about energy markets and energy transition. Before joining Meridiam, she was project director on electric mobility, smart grid and smart city projects at VINCI Energies, and solar project manager at Neoen.

Alice graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and holds a Master from Cambridge University business school.

Elisabeth HIVON
Partner, Executive Director Canada

Elisabeth joined Meridiam as a Senior Investment Director and is based in Meridiam’s Toronto office. She has extensive PPP experience having held senior positions at SNC-Lavalin, Dessau-Soprin and the Agence des Partenariats Public-Privé du Quebec. During her time at these organizations, Elisabeth was directly involved in numerous PPP projects including the OSM Concert Hall in Montreal, the Southeast Stoney Trail project, in Calgary and the South Fraser Perimeter Road project, in British Columbia.

In addition to her roles overseeing PPP investments and project management, Elisabeth spent the early part of her career as a technical specialist at EBA Engineering Consultants followed by a few years as a senior manager of a manufacturing company.

Elisabeth holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Alberta, a MBA from the University of Montreal and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Nicolas Hocquard

Nicolas joined Meridiam in March 2021 as an Analyst in the Paris office.

Prior to that, he did an off-cycle internship with the company in 2020. Nicolas also interned with CIMB and BNP Paribas in Singapore, as well as Lydec in Casablanca.

Nicolas graduated in 2021 with a Joint bachelor degree In business administration from Essec Business School and Yonsei University.


Senior Investment Director

Jad joined Meridiam in 2011 and is currently an investment director in our Toronto office where he covers both Canadian and American opportunities.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Jad held a number of different roles in the Canadian P3 industry including project manager for Infrastructure Ontario, the crown agency responsible of P3 procurement in the Province where he managed the procurement process for some of the first P3 deals in Ontario, VP Project Finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising public and private clients on their P3 transactions, and senior bid manager with Balfour Beatty Capital bidding on P3 projects.

Prior to moving to Canada, Jad was a project manager for a construction company in the UAE where he managed the construction of residential and commercial towers.

Jad has a bachelor of civil engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA in finance from McGill University.

Senior Associate

Sarp joined Meridiam in 2016 with a focus on business and project development in Eurasia. Prior to joining Meridiam, he took roles at Bechtel & Enka JV and OHL.

Sarp is a former Fulbright grantee. He holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

Safety & Security Director

Arnaud joined Meridiam in 2013 as Manager of security, compliance and strategic intelligence.

Arnaud began his career in the French State Administration and Intelligence Services (General Secretary of National Defense, Directorate of Military Intelligence). He then became a journalist as a chief editor of a confidential letter specialized in arms trade and geo strategy. In 2010, he joined a consulting firm, leading business intelligence in Europe.

He is a former Officer in the Army (Reserve), Reservist for the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA), Arnaud was awarded the Bronze Medal of National Defense.


Erwan joined Meridiam in 2015 as Chief of staff to the CEO. He later joined the EU project development team and is also the secretary of the Meridiam endowment fund.

He has public sector and EU local government experience, having worked as advisor to the president of the Seine-Saint-Denis council on matters related to social policy and urban planning as well as to the vice president of the Ile-de-France Region in charge of public procurement.

During his time at the Ile-de-France Region, he has also served as chief of staff to the president of the Assembly of European Regions, a network of local governments from the Council of Europe area.

Erwan holds a Master’s degree in Development economics from Sciences-Po Paris, and a Licence in Philosophy from the Sorbonne. He has taught development theory at the Jamia Millia Islamia college in New-Delhi in 2007. Erwan has also graduated from the Advanced Master in "Infrastructure Project Finance" of the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech in 2018.

Jean Stephane Koffi

Jean Stephane joined Meridiam in September 2020, as Investment Associate based in Dakar Office. Among the Dakar-based team, he is actively involved in the development of several projects with a focus on renewables energy, urban, port and logistic projects in Africa.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Jean Stephane worked at Bollore Ports/Abidjan Terminal as Manager Public-Private Partnerships contributing to the development and management of port & logistics assets in West Africa. Before that, Jean Stephane worked as Head of economic and financial Studies at the Strategy and Development Direction of Abidjan Port Authority (largest port of Côte d’Ivoire) focussing on the negotiation and the development of the concession of mineral terminal and other major deals (worth totally over USD 4.6 billion) such as the second container (TC2), Roro Terminal and Vridi Channel of Abidjan port. Alongside that role, he was actively involved in the review and development of projects pipeline of PPP Unit in Côte d’Ivoire depending from the Office of President and in the preparation of the National Development Plan of Côte d’Ivoire (2016-2020).

Jean Stephane holds a Master of Science (Distinction) – Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London (UCL) and graduated as Ingénieur Statisticien-Economiste with mention BIEN from ENSEA Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique d’Economie Appliquée, an International Excellence Center of World Bank. Jean Stephane was also a 2018/2019–Chevening Scholar from UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and a 2016-Mandela Washington Fellow from US Department of State.

Damien Kolosky
Senior Investment Director

Damien joined Meridiam in October 2020 as Senior Investment Director.

Damien is a construction professional with 23 years of international experience and will bring his development expertise to the North America team, specifically to advance the Miami Beach Transit project and other early developments.

Damien has joined us from Americaribe LLC where he was a Managing Partner (2018) from 2011 to 2020.  Previously as Senior Vice-President, Business Development for LATIN AMERICA, BOUYGUES Bâtiment International from 2001 – 2011.

Damien holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture form ESTP.


Tereza joined Meridiam in 2016 as an Analyst with focus on both Project Development and Business Development in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Meridiam’s BD team, Tereza experienced an internship where she worked on several European deals in the transportation and environmental sectors.

Tereza holds a Master in Economics, Management and Finance from École des Ponts ParisTech and a Master in Civil Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague. She is based in Meridiam’s office in Vienna, Austria.

Wesley KOO
Senior Investment Director

Wesley joined Meridiam in January 2018 as part of the Investor Relations team.

Wesley started his career in startup venture capital investment in Softbank, worked in Goldman Sachs IBD and in the Korea National Pension Service on PE, Infra and RE projects.

Wesley has an MBA from the University of Chicago in the US and holds a BS of Electrical Engineering from POSTECH in South Korea.

Partner, Deputy CEO

Sandra joined Meridiam in December 2017, as COO Asset Management.

From January 2016 to January 2017, Sandra was Executive Vice President of ENGIE, in charge of gas infrastructure, China and real estate. Previously she held the position of CEO of GRDF (Gaz Réseau Distribution France) from 2013 to 2016. Sandra joined Gaz de France in 2005 and took over successively the functions of Deputy Strategy Director, Public Affairs Delegate, General Counsel and, Corporate and Group General Counsel.

She started her career in 1995 at the Council of State and joined in 2000, the Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industry as Legal Advisor, and than took over the role of Deputy Director of Public and International Law of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance where she was in charge of the PPP reform.

Sandra graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and National School of Administration (ENA). She holds a Master of Common Market Law and of Public law.

She is member of the French Competition Authority.

Barbara LANTZ
Investment Director

Barbara joined Meridiam in September 2019 to work within the investment team.

Before joining Meridiam, she worked on major infrastructure projects around the world. After an internship at the World Bank in Africa, she worked for VINCI first in the concessions branch in Paris, New Delhi and New York as bid analyst for PPP projects, and then in the construction branch, as site construction manager for the Tideway project in London.

Barbara graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master in Energy Economy (Institut Français du Pétrole)

Marjorie LEMOS

Marjorie joined Meridiam in 2010, in the Asset Management department.

She has worked on several tasks related to the investments in portfolio, ranging from cash management to documentation renegotiation and quarterly reporting. She previously worked as Credit Analyst in Alcatel-Lucent France for a one-year apprenticeship.

Marjorie holds a master in Project Finance (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – Université Paris Ouest La Défense).

Antoine LENOIR
Communication Director

Antoine joined Meridiam in March 2019 as Communication Director.

Prior to that, Antoine worked for ENGIE as Group Brand and External Communication for 4 years. During this period he was especially in charge of the change of Group name (GDF SUEZ to ENGIE), the launch and deployment of the new brand, and of its storytelling internally, externally and digitally.

From 2011 and 2015, Antoine was Communication Director for both France and Europe for GDF SUEZ. He was at that time responsible for transforming and developing the image and reputation of the Group within those areas. With a clear focus on energy transition, innovation and services to clients and communities. Prior to that, Antoine was SUEZ press relations Director. He handled notably media relations, crisis management and spokemanship during the merger between SUEZ and Gaz de France. And implemented 360 degree communication strategy : economical, industrial, social, political, regulatory…

Antoine started his carreer in USA as US energy sector analyst, working for the french utility EDF at that time.

Antoine is a graduate from Rennes School of Business and Management (ESC Rennes) and holds a Master Degree in Economics and Finance (Université Paris Pantheon Sorbonne)

Louis Lhermitte

Louis joined Meridiam in November 2020 as Associate, with a focus development of activity with North Americas.

Louis worked as Project Finance Officer at Eiffage Concessions in Paris and prior to that as a Consultant for the World Bank's Africa Transport Policy Program in Washington DC.

He also completed a 6-month internship at Meridiam in the Paris office, as Analyst, in 2015.

Louis holds two master's degrees in Finance and Financial Engineering & Urban Economics.

Partner, Chief Operating Officer, Americas

Romain joined Meridiam in 2010 and has worked on the bid preparation of several major projects in France (A63 motorway, LGVs, public buildings) and abroad (UK, Spain, Finland, US). In 2011, he was notably involved in the Nottingham Tramway PFI (NET Phase II) in the UK and recently participated in the successful bid and EUR 425M financial close of the E18 Motorway PPP in Finland.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he had a first experience in Project Finance and Structured Finance at Veolia Eau in 2008 where he took part in various large wastewater treatment and desalination projects.

Romain graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master in Project Finance (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – Université Paris Ouest La Défense).

Josefine LUNDIN

Josefine is an economist with great experience in quantitative data analysis and preparation work. Prior to joining Meridiam, Josefine worked at the OECD on inequalities in emerging economies and the analysis of the middle class. Josefine’s early career included research assistant jobs and researcher at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. Josefin holds a Master in Economics with a major in statistics and bachelor in political science from Lund university.

Betty joined Meridiam in September 2005 as Human Resources Manager.

She previously worked for Egis Projects as Human Resources Manager.


Ryan joined Meridiam in 2017 in the New York office as an Analyst with a focus on deal origination in North America.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Ryan worked at McChrystal Group, a management consulting firm.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.

Apolline Marcilhacy

Apolline is an ESG Analyst.

Apolline Marcilhacy joined Meridiam in January 2020 to reinforce the company’s capacity in developing and applying its tailored-made sustainable development approach and ESG procedures across all its activities and throughout all its investment phases. 
Prior to joining Meridiam, Apolline worked with the APFnet to address the lack of accessible tools and information in Asia-Pacific for adapting to changing environmental conditions and implementing effective management resource policies. She also did research for the China Green Carbon Foundation, regarding Emission Trading Systems' implementations in order to plan for low carbon economic development in small cities and towns in China.
Apolline graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation and a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris. 

Jean François MARCO
Directeur Développement France

Jean François joined Meridiam in 2010 and has over thirteen years’ expertise in the infrastructure sector in Europe, North America and Africa.

Since joining Meridiam, Jean François has been involved in the South Europe Atlantic high-speed rail (Tours-Bordeaux high-speed rail), University of Hertfordshire and Nottingham Tramway PFI (NET Phase II) in the UK. He is currently in charge of the opening and development of a new office in Istanbul (Turkey), where Meridiam will invest in several hospitals PPP projects.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he was Vice President for Antin Infrastructure Partners, where he worked on a number of transactions in the energy, telecom and transport sectors.

He previously worked with Vinci Concessions and Autoroutes du Sud de la France as Structured Finance Manager and also spent four years with Bouygues Construction as Project Finance Manager.

He has taken leading roles in various infrastructure projects such as Leslys, light rail airport express link (France), A41 Motorway Concession (France), M5 Motorway PPP (Hungary), Oosterweel road link project (Belgium), Le Mans Stadium (France), Prado-Sud Tunnel (France) and Tanger-Méditerranée deepwater harbor (Morocco).

Jean-Francois began his career in 1998 with Banque Worms Capital Corporation in the syndication loan department in New York, where he was involved in numerous transactions in various sectors, including infrastructure transactions. Jean-Francois graduated from Dauphine University in Paris (Master in Banking and Finance).

Yannick Marion
Managing Director GIGF

Yannick MARION joined Meridiam in 2020 as Managing Director of GIGF (Green Impact Growth Fund), the SME fund dedicated to investment in European SMEs having a positive impact on the ecological transition.

Yannick worked for more than 14 years for Eurazeo as Managing Director involved in the leverage buy-out investment strategy and  in the growth equity investment strategy. He then worked for Dassault Systèmes as M&A Director for 5 years performing acquisitions in Europe and in the USA in the software space.

Yannick graduated from École Polytechnique and from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA).

Jean Michel MARTINEZ
Senior Investment Director

Jean-Michel joined Meridiam in 2012, as North American Asset Management Senior Investment Director based in New York, with a specific focus on management of Operation and Maintenance activities.

Jean-Michel Martinez started his career in 1981 with Schlumberger, and had different assignments especially in the Middle East (U.A.E., Egypt), and then carried out various responsibilities within the HAYS LOGISTICS Group from 1987 (190 locations in Europe and USA).

In 2004, Jean-Michel joined Abertis in France to set up and lead Eurotoll (an Electronic Tool Service provider) and largely contributed to a successful positioning of the group in this new European Market (28% of market share in France, 515 Meuros of turnover).

In 2010, Jean Michel worked on different projects for Vinci Autoroutes, one being the introduction of new tolling commercial policy for existing subscribers.

Jean-Michel Martinez is an engineer graduate of the Ecole Superieure d’Electronique de l’Ouest d’Angers (ESEO), and holds a Master in business and administration from I.A.E. Nantes (France) and a Master in Finance from the Institut de Haute Finance (IHFI) in Paris.

Daniel McCarthy Stott

Dan joined Meridiam in December 2020 as an Associate working within the Meridiam Hub with a focus on knowledge sharing across the Meridiam network.
Dan began his career in Higher Education and has worked for several Universities across a number of roles before transitioning to the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Meridiam, he previously worked for Fulcrum Infrastructure Management providing operational management to Meridiam’s UK based operational projects and supporting project development activities.
Dan graduated from the University of Keele with a Degree in History and Politics and holds a Research Masters Degree in History.

Maryame MEJDI
Senior Associate

Maryame joined the Meridiam team in 2013. Since then, she has participated in the development of infrastructure and energy projects in Europe and in Africa.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Maryame experienced internship where she assisted on the day-to-day running activities of a social housing construction site.

Maryame graduated from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics, both engineering schools in France and Morocco respectively, as part of a double degree program. She also holds a Master in Project Finance from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.


Melat Mengesha joined Meridiam SAS Ethiopia Branch as an Analyst in January 2018. Melat is currently working on Tulu Moye geothermal project in Ethiopia, Kampala Jinja Expressway tender in Uganda and Ouagadougou Donsin International Airport project in Burkina Faso.


Prior to joining Meridiam Melat worked as Investment Analyst for Cepheus Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Ethiopia. She has also worked as a Junior Business Analyst at Natixis in Paris.


Melat has a multidisciplinary educational background. In addition to her Master degree in Financial Analysis, she also has a background in Political Science (BA), Economics (BA degree) as well as in Information Technology and Digital Media (Masters).

Investment Director

Vital joined Meridiam in 2019 as Investment Director with a focus on business development and project development in Africa.

He began his career in gabonese senior administration where he held various positions : Presidential Advisor, Ambassador-Director of African Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief of staff in different Ministers and Institutions. Prior to joining Meridiam, he was Off-Counsel in a french business law firm, which he coordinated with african partners in the african continent.

Vital is a a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux (Section Service Public). He also holds a DEA in Political Sciences (African Studies, CEAN Bordeaux) and he is an alumnus of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA, France).

Emmanuel MUNDELA
Senior Associate

Emmanuel Mundela joined Meridiam in early 2015 from Turkey where he completed a bachelor degree in civil engineering at Istanbul Technical University and a master in construction management at Bogazici University (Turkey). He is actively involved in the deployment of the African funds and had helped developing both greenfield and brownfield projects in sub-Saharan Africa.

Senior Investment Director

Allan joined Meridiam in 2016 as the East Africa Director responsible for development of the investment pipeline, investing in projects and asset management.

Allan has over 10 years in the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Meridiam, Allan was a Division Principal at TransCentury Limited, an East Africa based infrastructure focused investment company where he led the efforts of the firm to identify, develop, finance, on‐board and support investments in the power and transport sectors in East and Central Africa. At TransCentury, Allan worked on several infrastructure investment transactions and engaged with developers, lenders, regulators and off-takers in the region, developing proprietary opportunities and successfully winning or securing preferred bidder position in public bids for various IPP and PPP projects.

Allan also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kenya with focus on the water and road sectors. He also worked at an Africa wide real estate finance institution, supporting project developers in a number of countries across the continent.

Allan obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Nairobi, Kenya and subsequently a Master Degree in Settlements and Infrastructure Development from Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Partner, Chief Operating Officer Europe

Matthieu Muzumdar is Chief Operating Officer Europe.

Matthieu joined Meridiam in 2011 as Investment Director with a focus on project development in Europe, and has in particular developed projects in France, Belgium and Turkey. In 2013, he took responsibility for the Investor Relations function, in charge of managing relationships with existing and potential investors globally, leading the fundraising of the past four Meridiam funds as well as co-investment activities.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Matthieu worked for the French Ministry of Transport as head of the concession operations unit. In this role he was responsible for the management of all French highway concession contracts covering a network of over 8,000 km, overseeing investment programs, pricing, contractual aspects, and leading a team of lawyers and engineers. Before that, Matthieu was project manager in charge of the development of highway projects under a concession framework.

Matthieu graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris. He has been teaching project finance at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 2009 to 2015 and since 2016, is the program director for the « Infrastructure Project Finance » masters program.

Emmanuelle Nasse Bridier
Executive Director, The Urban Resilience Fund

Emmanuelle joined Meridiam in 2019 as Head of The Urban Resilience Initiative, to participate to the development of new sustainable and resilient urban infrastructures.

Emmanuelle brings over 20 years of structured finance and infrastructure investment experience.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Emmanuelle was AXA Group Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Chief Credit Officer, responsible for the definition and implementation of AXA Group investment strategy (fixed income and alternative credit including infrastructure).

She has experience overseeing over €5 billion of infrastructure investments across over 20 investments (debt, equity and co-investment).

 Emmanuelle also has experience with innovative blended finance solutions, having developed with the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) a €500 million Managed Co Lending Portfolio Program (“MCPP”) to finance new infrastructure projects in developing countries.

Emmanuelle started her career at Credit Lyonnais Group where she was in charge of structuring securitised products. She joined AXA IM in 1999 to create and develop the ABS Department. In 2004 she joined Fitch Ratings as Head of Structured Products Team for Continental Europe and then returned to AXA Group in January 2009, as head of the strategic asset allocation of AXA France.

Emmanuelle has been part of various initiatives to foster the deployment of viable and sustainable projects.

She is convinced that a dedicated and pragmatic approach combining public and private sector technical expertise and financial resources will be key to unlock the implementation of sustainable infrastructure strategies.

Sharing Meridiam’s vision, she decided to join the team to take the lead of the Urban Resilience Initiative.

Deputy Business Development Director

Amir joined Meridiam in 2017 as as Business Development Deputy Director in the Paris office.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Amir co-founded Discern Data, a technology company using drones to provide aerial data to industrial, infrastructure and government clients. Before launching that venture, Amir gained expertise advising governments and companies in a variety of organizations. His experience includes roles at strategic communications firm Richard Attias & Associates in New York, the Clinton Foundation’s Health Access Initiative in Togo, private equity fund PHI Industrials in Madrid, and merchant bank Genoa Capital Markets in Toronto.

Amir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Elliott Newman

Elliott joined Meridiam in 2019 in the Paris office as an analyst in the investment team.

Prior to joining, Elliott was an analyst in Infrastructure Finance and Debt Capital Markets for RBC Capital Markets in Toronto. He also worked as an analyst intern for Meridiam in the Toronto office. 

Elliott graduated from HEC Montreal with a major in finance in 2018.

Olivier Noblecourt
Sustainable Local Investment Director

Olivier joined Meridiam in September 2020 as Sustainable Local Investment Director.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he was working for more than twenty years in the public sector, both locally and nationally.

Former Director of Cabinet at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, he was later in charge of national investment programs for urbanistic development and social inclusion. Over the last two years, as interministerial delegate, he was responsible for the national strategy against poverty.

Stéphane NOIRIE
Partner, Operations Director

Stéphane joined Meridiam in 2009 as Meridiam Director of Asset Management and is since 2020 Director of Portfolio Operations. He performs a wide variety of tasks related to the portfolio and the proactive management of participations of Meridiam Infrastructure Funds and projects owned by Meridiam worldwide.
He managed the growth of Meridiam portfolio adapting processes, governance and risk&opportunities management to foster delivery of Premium Asset Management with financial and non-financial value creation.
Before that, in 1998 he started at Suez, a major global utilities company to develop, manage or restructure infrastructure projects in South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Australia and Europe. In 2006, he joined Vinci Concessions and largely contributed to Vinci successful positioning as a leader on the large infrastructure market with projects in Europe like Coentunnel in Netherlands, R1 in Slovakia or Liefkenshoek Rail Tunnel in Belgium and late 2008, he took the lead of Vinci Concessions for Portugal with the development of rail projects and asset management activities related to Lusoponte Tagus crossings’ road concession.
Stéphane graduated from the Ecole Nationale de l’Eau et de l’Environnement in Strasbourg and he is a certified board member from IFA&SciencesPo. 

Director, Meridiam Hub

Thomas joined Meridiam in 2017 as Back Office Asset Management Director, within our Team in Paris Office.

Before joining us, Thomas worked in Middle East at Systra as General Manager of Systra KSA, and Director of Operations for Middle East. Thomas was also, Vice President, Engineering at Canalrail in Montreal.

Thomas holds a Master of Science of University of California, and Engineering diploma from Ecole Spécial des Travaux Publics and MBA from INSEAD.

Mathieu PELLER
Partner, Chief Operating Officer Africa

Mathieu joined Meridiam in September 2011 as part of the Asset Management team.

Mathieu started his career within Project Finance teams of industrial sponsors with two subsequent experiences, at Vinci Concessions, working on major European transport deals and in the german renewables group JUWI, working on projects in France.

Mathieu graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master in Project Finance (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – Université Paris Ouest La Défense).


Toriki joined Meridiam in 2017 as Analyst.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Toriki has done an internship at MINA as Analyst and at Roland Berger as Business analyst.

Toriki is graduated from EDHEC Business School, Lille and has a Master in Science in Strategy, Consulting and Digital transformation.

Investment Director

Peter joined Meridiam in 2017 as an investment director in our Toronto office where he focuses on business and project development opportunities in both Canada and the United States.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Peter was an associate vice president at a Plenary Group in Canada working on both social and civil developments in North America.

He has worked, since 2007, on various Public Private Partnerships infrastructure projects in the US and Canada including Cook County Hospital, Waterloo LRT, Denver Airport, and Northwest Anthony Henday.

Peter is CFA® charterholder and holds a Master of Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Economics Degree from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.

Investment Director

Nick joined Meridiam in 2018 as an Investment Director in the New York office.

With over 10 years’ experience in the infrastructure development space, Nick has worked within a variety of roles globally including projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Nick worked in an advisory capacity with the public sector to develop pilot program infrastructure investment structures and as a Vice President at John Laing, where he led their entry into the managed lanes sector with their investment into the I-77 project in North Carolina.

Nick began his infrastructure career at Cintra working in the Austin, Madrid and Sydney offices.

Nick received his B.S. in Finance from Tulane University.

Olga Piletski
Corporate Compliance Officer

Before joining Meridiam, she was Compliance Associate at the Hudson Bay Capital Management, LP, a multi-billion asset management firm, focusing on management and delivery best practices compliance program and ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations. In this role, her responsibilities included researching compliance and regulatory issues, preparing regulatory filings, reviewing, and testing compliance processes and procedures.   


Olga graduated from the Fordham University School of Law with LL.M degree in Corporate Compliance. Olga holds her Bachelor of Laws from Belarus State University. 

Violette Poinsard
Senior Associate

Violette joined the Meridiam Finance team as an associate in October 2018 with a focus on portfolio valuations and fund performances.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Violette worked in the Valuation and Business Modelling team at EY, in charge of infrastructure asset portfolios and corporate valuations. She began her career at EY (Graduate Program) where she was involved in various audit and financial advisory assignments (aeronautics and renewable energy sectors).

Violette graduated from ESCP Europe (Master in Management) in 2015.

Partner, Chief Strategy Officer

Julia is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Meridiam Infrastructure as well as sitting on the Executive Committee. She also sits on the investment committees of the Meridiam funds. In addition, Julia was recently named as a Commissioner on the UK’s National Infrastructure Commission. She is also a non-executive director at the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund, Infraco Asia Investments based in Singapore and Infraco Africa Investments. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Glennmont Partners, a fund focussed on renewable energy and a Visiting Professor at the Bartlett School, University College London.

Previously she was the President of the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation, a non-governmental organisation based in Geneva. Her previous roles include Head of European Infrastructure Finance for the Bank of Scotland, Head of Project Finance at Hill Samuel London and Co-Head of Project Advisory at Charterhouse Bank.

Julia holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Studies from Cambridge University.

Mariana Quidel
Investment Director

Mariana joined Meridiam in January 2021 as Investment Director, with a focus on development of activity with North Americas.

Mariana has 12 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sector, having developed and structured projects mostly in Latin America.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Mariana was a Vice President in the Energy and Infrastructure Group at Macquarie Capital in New York, she also worked as an advisor at Astris Finance in Washington DC and Mexico City. Mariana has also advised third party clients in North America for the development and financing of their greenfield projects as well as in M&A transactions.

Mariana holds a Ms. in Operations Research from Columbia University (NY) and an Engineering Diploma from ENPC (Paris).

Eric REY
Managing Director, Head of GIGF

Eric Rey joined Meridiam in July 2019 as Managing Director of the SME team.

He was formerly Managing Partner at Omnes Capital and a member of the Executive Committee, responsible for the mid-cap buyout and growth capital activities.

He began his career in 1992 as an associate at Banque Hervet (HSBC Group), where he oversaw risk management and monitoring for a portfolio of SME’s. In 1995 he joined the Crédit Agricole Group, first at Unicrédit, later at Crédit Agricole Indosuez (CA-CIB) as Large Account Relationship Manager, and ultimately Crédit Agricole Private Equity in 1998. Crédit Agricole Private Equity spun out from Credit Agricole in 2012 and became Omnes Capital.

Eric Rey is a graduate in civil engineering from INSA Toulouse. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from Kedge Business School and an Executive Certificate in Finance from HEC Paris.

Hannes Ring

Hannes Ring joined Meridiam in February 2020 as an Associate in the investment team with a focus on the development of telecom and energy infrastructure projects in Europe. He is also involved in the asset management of several Meridiam transport projects in Germany.

He began his career at the Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG), a subsidiary of KfW Group, working on infrastructure investments in Latin America and East Africa. He then worked for the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the project finance division in the area of renewable energy and transport projects, notably the German motorway PPP-models, in Central and South Eastern Europe. Before joining Meridiam, he focused on investments into fiber optic networks by working for the Connecting Europe Broadband Fund (CEBF) managed by Cube Infrastructure Managers in Luxemburg.

Hannes graduated from Sciences Po Paris and Witten/Herdecke University in Germany.

Partner, Senior Investment Director

Sergio joined Meridiam in 2013.

He has worked for the last 15 years at BBVA including the last 7 years in the Project & Structured Finance department in Paris where he has been directly involved among other transactions in Europe, in some of the most important infrastructure landmark transactions in France: HSL Nîmes-Montpellier, APRR’s acquisition refinancing, HSL Tours-Bordeaux, HSL BPL, A63 toll road, GSM-R, Prado Sud, A19 and the APRR toll road privatisation.

Sergio graduated in Finance and Business Administration (E-2) from ICADE Business School, Comillas University (Madrid, Spain).

Thilo ROSE
Senior Investment Director

Thilo joined Meridiam in 2011 and has successfully closed the E18 Road PPP Project in Finland, the Isle of Wight road maintenance PFI and the M8 Road NPD Project, both in the UK.

Thilo started his project finance career in 1997 in London with Commerzbank before working as Assistant Commercial Director for the PT Jawa Power IPP project company in Jakarta, Indonesia. Following his Master’s Degree in 2000 he joined ABN AMRO Bank’s Infrastructure Group in London, where he worked on a number of social, defence, and transportation PPPs across Europe.

In 2003 Thilo joined KPMG’s projects group in London where he advised both governments and private bidders on a range of road, electronic tolling and defence projects in a number of European countries. Thilo advised ASFINAG in Austria on its first PPP tender for the A5 Autobahn.

Thilo then moved on to lead the Transportation team at Siemens Project Ventures GmbH (“SPV”) in Germany from 2005 to 2011. He took a leading role in a number of transportation PPP projects around the world, most notably Colombia’s Bogota Airport PPP, the Intercity Express Programme in the UK, the Sydney Metro PPP, and the Denver FasTrack PPP Project. Thilo also led SPV’s successful bid for the Thameslink Rolling Stock PPP project in the UK.

Thilo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Business Academy Karlsruhe and an MSc in Finance and Engineering from Technical University Berlin.

Partner, Global Business Development Director

Marco joined Meridiam in 2011 and has over 15 years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Previously he worked at Alpine Bau GmbH, a major Austrian construction company, where he was involved in leading or consultant roles in PPP’s in Austria (A5), Russia (M1 Moscow-Minsk), and Slovakia (D1.3).

As CFO of the Swiss subsidiaries of Alpine he worked on the Gotthard NEAT project and several projects in countries like Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Romania and Turkey. As CFO of the Italian branch of the company he was involved in projects in transportation infrastructures (airports, railways, highways) and civil engineering (courthouses, hospitals).

Marco started his career in the construction sector in 1994, working for Italian companies during the “German Reconstruction” in Munich and Leipzig.

He holds a degree in Business Administration.

Emmanuel ROTAT
Partner, Chief Financial Officer

Currently Partner and global CFO at Meridiam, in charge of all corporate, administrative and financial activities of the Meridiam Funds and its management companies.

As one of Meridiam founders, he was involved in the setting up of the firm and initiated the company’s earliest investments in the United States and Europe.

Emmanuel holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris business school, and began his career at the Centre for Transport Studies at University College London.

Prior to Meridiam, he spent 8 years as project director at Egis Projects, where he managed a number of infrastructure projects from the Tender stage to financial close throughout Europe and the Asia/Pacific region. In particular, he closed the Daejeon Expressway in South Korea in 2001 and subsequently became the CEO of the Concession Company in charge of starting up its activities. he also supported the Business development activities of Egis in Australia in 2004.

Nicolas Rubio
Partner, Chief Executive Officer North America

Based in New York, Nicolas is Chief Executive Officer North America.
Before joining Meridiam in March 2021, he was the Director of Operations at Cintra, the investment arm of Ferrovial, overseeing the development and implementation of strategy in all technical, operational, innovation, environmental, quality, and health and safety domains both for existing and for prospective assets.
From 2009 to 2016 as US President, he led Cintra US operations  from its headquarters in Austin, Texas, developing and managing over $12 bn of infrastructure assets, including state-of-the-art Managed Lanes projects North Tarrant Express, LBJ Express and I-35W Express in Texas in partnership with Meridiam. As head of business development prior to moving to Texas, he had led the team that secured these projects through their procurement phase.
Nicolas has over three decades of international leadership within the private infrastructure and construction sectors. In his first decade working as a contractor he managed bridge, tunnel, dam, sports and industrial projects, spending four years as head of the Tunisian branch of Ferrovial. His experience in North America started in 1999 with the award of 407 ETR highway in Canada. In his career he has been involved in the development of over 150 private infrastructure projects spanning more than 30 countries.
In 2010 he was awarded the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association for his role promoting PPPs for transportation in the United States.
In 2017 he was selected by the National Council for PPPs as part of America’s Top 10 P3 Transportation Infrastructure Pioneers.
Nicolas holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.


West Africa Director

Mete joined Meridiam's Istanbul Office in 2013.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he worked at ENKA Construction & Industry Company where he was responsible for material quantity take-off in various infrastructure and residential projects based in Middle East, Africa and Europe.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey and currently he pursues a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with focus on construction Management from the same university.

Senior Investment Director

Guyve Sardari joined Meridiam in 2015 as a Senior Associate Director in the European Investment Team based in Paris. He is involved on European infrastructure projects in all sectors of interest to Meridiam with a strong focus currently on energy transition projects (district heating, waste, renewable energy, smart grids, interconnectors, electric mobility).

Prior to Meridiam, Guyve was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs where he worked for 10 years initially in London and then in Hong Kong. Guyve has specialized over the years at Goldman Sachs in the financing of illiquid assets, particularly in the hard asset space (ships, aircrafts, infrastructure projects and oil rigs).

Guyve graduated from Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC).

Senior Investment Director

Martin is working as a Director for South-Eastern Europe and leads the Vienna office. He joined Meridiam in 2014 as a CEO of the Austrian A5 motorway project and CFO of the Slovakian R1 motorway, and also engages into Business Development in the wider region.

Before joining Meridiam, he was working for the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Vienna and Brussels, and was heading the PPP/Concession business in the Austrian developer PORR for more than 10 years. Martin was studying in Austria, France and Spain and holds a Bachelor of law and Master of International Management degree.

He is a passionate mountaineer and serves as volunteer mountain-guide for the Austrian Alpine Federation.


Balthazar is ESG Analyst.

Exposed to a bilingual environment in his childhood, education and work experiences, Balthazar benefits from his various experiences in evaluating the extra-financial impact of projects in developed and developing countries.

He introduced the first set of ESG KPIs at MIGA, participated in the implementation of the long-term responsible investment strategy of the Caisse des Dépôts Group, and now supports the different teams within Meridiam in streamlining ESG at all levels of the organization.

He recently supervised the environmental and social impact evaluation of the Nouakchott Container Terminal in Mauritania and the implementation of the required environmental and social action plans.

He is also part of the collaborative effort to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at all layers of Meridiam’s investment and asset management processes.

Thibault SIMON
Investment Director

Thibault joined Meridiam in 2011 as an Analyst in the investment team. He has been working on several bid preparations for major projects in Europe (public buildings, transportation and waterways) as well as on deal origination, notably in Northern Europe.

Prior to that, he worked at Fortis Bank (BNP Paribas group) focusing on small-cap/midcap corporates development in Paris.

Thibault holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Technology of Sydney (2010) and a Specialized Master in Finance from ESCP Europe (2011). He is a graduate from Cesem (Reims Management School).

Jean-Baptiste SIMON
Senior Associate

Jean-Baptiste joined Meridiam asset management team in January 2018 following more than five years occupying finance officer roles in Meridiam sponsored project companies based in Slovakia (R1 Expressway PPP project as Deputy CFO) and the United Kingdom (Isle of Wight and NET Phase 2 PFI projects as CFO).

In 2018, he actively participated in the €2.2bn commercial debt refinancing of SEA (Sud Europe Atlantique) high speed line concession project. Prior to joining Meridiam projects in 2012, Jean-Baptiste worked as an intern in audit at KPMG and in Private Equity at Eolfi Asset Management (renewable energy sector).

Jean-Baptiste is a graduate from ESCP Europe (Finance Master in Management) and Carlos III University of Madrid.

Amadou SY
Investment Director

Amadou joined Meridiam in 2017. He is an infrastructure passionate with technical and financial expertise applied to large scale infrastructure and energy projects.

After spending nearly a decade working internationally in the field of infrastructure project preparation and management consulting, Amadou developed a depth knowledge of infrastructure development and investment.

Prior to joining Meridiam he conducted various transport infrastructure projects (airport, rail, road, highway, port ...) for Egis International.

Amadou also work for Deloitte where he acted as Senior Manager in charge of Infrastructure, Capital Projects and Public Sector Consulting dedicated to Africa

Amadou is a civil engineer graduate from the École Polytechnique de Montréal and a Registered Professional Engineer in Canada. He is also a graduate in Management and Public Policy from Paris Institute of Political Studies.

Tolgacan Taktak

Tolgacan joined Meridiam in September 2020 as an Associate, with a focus on deal origination and development through the investment process in the Eurasia region.

Tolgacan began his career at Bechtel Corporation under its rotational leadership development program where he held various commercial roles in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in the EMEA region. Prior to joining Meridiam, he was employed in the real assets team of Natixis, managing a senior credit portfolio in the renewable energy, telecom, and transport sectors.

Tolgacan holds an MBA from HEC Paris, MSc. in Transport and Business Management from Imperial College London, and BSc. in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University.

Partner, Corporate Development Director

Julien joined Meridiam in 2011. He serves as a Partner and Corporate Development Director and Executive Committee Member, with current responsibility over the development and deployment of energy transition activities, including through Meridiam Transition, a €485m large low carbon energy transition and Europe-focused investment fund.
At the global level, he is responsible for the operational strategy of the group, in charge of designing and implementing new developments as well as monitor the group’s operational performance. In this capacity, he led the strategic development of Meridiam in Africa and sits at the investment committee of Meridiam Africa Infrastructure Fund.
Prior to joining Meridiam, Julien worked at the French Ministry of Finance’s Agence des Participations de l’État, where he was responsible for managing the French Government’s shareholding in Électricité de France (EDF). Prior to this, Julien was the Deputy Head of the European Affairs Division of the French Treasury. He also worked for Veolia Transport and the infrastructure division of Proparco, the French Development Finance Institution.
He teaches Energy Regulations at Sciences-Po Paris and is a Millenium Fellow of the Atlantic Council. He is also a contributor to several international think tanks or public organizations in the energy transition and infrastructure sectors.
Julien holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Energy Economics and a Master of Public Affairs from the École des Ponts in Paris.

Senior Investment Director

Valeria joined Meridiam at the end of 2018, as Eurasia Asset Management Senior Investment Director based in Istanbul, with a specific focus on management of assets in the region.

Valeria started her career in 1998 with Astaldi on a DBFO project on Motorway sector, and on 2001 she moved to the head office in Italy with the role of Concession and PPP Projects coordinator. She managed different projects on healthcare, motorways, parking and metro sectors form bidding stage to financial close including start-up activities of SPVs.

In 2007, Valeria joined Steer Davies Gleave to set up the office in Rome and open/lead the Technical Due Diligence and Financial Advisors sectors in Italy largely contributed to a successful positioning of the company in this new Markets.

In 2011, Valeria joined Salini to set up the PPP and Concession Dept. and worked for the acquisitions of new projects in Australia, Costa Rica, Nigeria, Russia, Turkey, Romania, Italy, etc. At the beginning of 2014 she moved to Turkey with the position of SPV COO in a PPP Project in the Health Sector managing the company to the financial close and during construction period.

Valeria is an engineer graduate of University of L’Aquila and holds a Master in Finance Management.



Stephania joined Meridiam in 2017 as an analyst in the Asset Management team.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Stephania interned at a start-up as an analyst where she put in place monitoring processes. Before that, she was a student researcher for the NASA project, Osiris-ReX, involved with the systems engineering management of the project.

She holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Specialized Master of International Project Management from ESCP Europe.

Michel-André VOLLE
Global Head of Funding & Investors Relation

Michel-André Volle joined Meridiam in 2019 to become global head of Funding & Investors Relation.

He is in charge of managing relationships with existing and potential investors globally, as well as fundraising and co-investment activities.

He is also responsible for co-ordinating and supervising Meridiam's funding strategies globally and establishing innovative solutions for Meridiam’s assets in all regions while managing the relationship with the markets and debt providers.

Prior to joining Meridiam, he was a managing director at HSBC, in charge of infrastructure finance for continental Europe. During his 15-year time in investment banking, he was directly involved in the financing and advisory of more than 30 project finance transactions successfully closed across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. He started his career as an investment officer at Suez in France and in Latin America.

Michel-André graduated from the ESCP Business School in 1998.

Senior Investment Director

Peter is Asset Management Director North America for Meridiam and is currently acting as the CEO of Purple Line Transit Partners, delivering a 16-mile long light rail project between Bethesda and New Carrolton in Maryland, USA.

Peter has 28 years of professional experience in project management, business management, project controls, engineering, operations and maintenance of large capital Infrastructure projects, with international work experience in the Netherlands, Germany, and United States, including three large P3 projects: Purple Line Light Rail in Maryland, Presidio Parkway in San Francisco and the Dutch High Speed Rail superstructure, in the Netherlands.

Prior to joining Meridiam, Peter was the CEO of Golden Link Concessionaire, a private consortium consisting of Meridiam and Hochtief PPP Solutions North America to deliver the San Francisco Presidio Parkway concession.

From 1996 until 2014, Peter worked for Fluor, one of the world's largest publicly traded engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and maintenance companies. Over his 18-year career with Fluor, Peter held several positions in project management, project controls, contract management, and engineering.

Prior to the Presidio Parkway, Peter was responsible as Fluor’s Project Director of the nearly $ 2 billion San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge construction project, and prior to that, Peter was the acceptance manager on the Dutch High Speed Rail project, a € 2.9 billion PPP involving construction of a 62-mile rail line, and a 25-year infrastructure maintenance period.

Peter is a graduate of the Technical University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Senior Investment Director

Emmanuel joined Meridiam in 2009, and performs a wide range of asset management activities related to Meridiam’s investment portfolio, working in close relationship with the management team of the projects companies.

Emmanuel began his career with Crédit Lyonnais based in Asia working on corporate finance transactions for large multinationals before joining Calyon’s Aircraft Structured Finance department in Paris and then Singapore where he managed a portfolio of aircraft assets. In addition to originating and delivering aircraft-based structured financing for airlines, Emmanuel developed tools for rating assets based on their future residual values and liquidity.

Emmanuel holds a Master’s Degree from the ICN Nancy Graduate School of Business Administration and a Master in International Finance from the University of Bradford.

Business Development Director Germany

Stephan joined Meridiam in 2018 as Business Development Director Germany.

Before joining Meridiam, Stephan worked at Gazprom Germania GmbH as Head of Subsidiary Management and Strategic Business Development where he was involved in large M&A Transactions and business development activities, in particular in the energy infrastructure sector. Prior to that, Stephan acted as Head of Corporate Strategy for Deutsche Bahn AG, where was involved in the envisaged Initial Public Offering of DB AG as well as a large number of Corporate Development projects.

Stephan started his career in the Investment Banking division of Citi where he advised large corporate clients on M&A - and other Corporate Finance transactions.

He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne.

Investment Director GIGF

Jean Winckler joined the corporate development and SME team of Meridiam in 2018.

He previously worked with the “Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives” (CEA), France’s largest applied Research and Technology Organization (RTO), notably to develop its Venture Capital arm, CEA-Investissement and its in-house Strategy department. Jean was a member of CEA-Investissement’s board and investment committee for 5 years. In his role, he supported the development of several portfolio companies and acquired in-depth knowledge of the environment of highly innovative companies operating in the energy and digital transition.

Prior to joining the CEA, Jean Winckler had served for two years as the economic advisor of the French Minister for agriculture and as a strategy consultant for ten years in the financial and high-tech/media sectors.

Sabri joined Meridiam in 2013. A member of the Investor Relations team, he is actively involved in various activities with a particular focus on fundraising, co-investments, secondary transactions, fund valuations and performances.

Sabri has also spearheaded the creation and the development of the Meridiam Foundation, whose main objective is to foster and nurture young and talented individuals.

Sabri holds a Master Degree in Corporate Finance from the Paris Dauphine University.
