Olivier joined Meridiam in 2010 and acts as the COO in North America. Prior to joining Meridiam, Olivier led the underwriting and business origination efforts of Assured Guaranty’s financial guaranty subsidiaries in the infrastructure and utility finance markets throughout the Americas. His work involved analyzing and structuring a broad range of public infrastructure transactions, such as asset acquisitions, concessions, utility financings and transactions procured under a public-private partnership scheme. He was previously the managing director in charge of FSA’s infrastructure finance operations in the Americas when Assured Guaranty acquired FSA in July 2009.

Prior to relocating to the company’s New York offices, he was a member of FSA’s International Infrastructure Group in London. Transactions Olivier has worked on since joining FSA in 2001 include the Chicago Skyway financing, the new Jets and Giants stadium, the North Bay hospital in Ontario, Canada, the Santiago-Valparaiso and Santiago-San Antonio motorway financings in Chile and several transactions under the UK’s private finance initiative. Before joining FSA, Olivier was the Co-Head of Infrastructure and Environment for Dexia Credit Local. Prior to joining Dexia in 1998, he was with Credit Lyonnais. Olivier began his professional career at Banco Tornquist/Credit Lyonnais Argentina.
